The most important part about being a nanny for me is ensuring the child’s need is being met in every way just as if the parents could be there. Safety is always my top priority, however, I do feel that as a nanny, it is my responsibly to see that each child I have the privilege of nannying for has days filled with learning something new, laughing, and playing. I take pride in having the children I nanny for feeling loved and cared for. Equally, I think that it’s important to have a trusting and open communication relationship with the parents as well. Not only is it important. for the kids need to feel safe In your presence, it is just as (if not more) that the parents feel comfortable and confident in the abilities of their nannies. This is what I strive for in all of my families no matter how long the assignment.
