Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
As a social service project, my classmates and I visited a community center near the city I live in, which is managed by the university I studied at, that freely welcomes young children with no parents, drug addict parents, family and economic issues or with any special needs. We created a 2-day program where we made different activities related to uplifting their self-esteem. Some of these kids have tough behaviors because of their way of living, but deep down have the biggest hearts out there. We ended up as happy as we thought we would.
