My favorite moment as a nanny was when i watched a set of twins, a boy and a girl. Their parents informed me that it was hard finding a nanny that could deal with their crying around new people. One day i went over to watch them and the girl twin wouldn’t stop crying when her mom left. My mommy mode kicked in i picked her up and rocked her and explained to her mommy had work and i was there to help and everything would be ok. She looked at me and said ok and we sat down and played with her toys and sing songs and we became friends lol. I just felt like the other Nannie’s didn’t have the patience or had the time to take and make her feel comfortable.
