I taught PSR to ages 2nd grade to 8th. I ran a Sunday school daycare for infants. I taught drivers education in class and in car instruction.
Most recently I cared for 3 children, Twin boys from birth to 5 years and their 18-month-old sister. I also watched a pre- schooler and his little brother on an as needed basis. I have a experience caring for their 3 large dogs while caring for the children and while the family was on vacation. I have been a foster dog parent to several dogs I have a resume and references upon request.

I love going for walks, playing outside. I am an avid reader and believe that the earlier the better to start. I love sports and my children were involved in every sport known to man. I am a crafty person, always looking for a new way to express our creative side. Whether it is coloring, painting, gluing or connecting dots count me in. I have been known to decorate cupcakes. Exploring nature learning about the world round us.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The children need to be priority. Knowing they feel safe is THE most important thing above all else. I know no one can love your child like you do. I understand being a mom and I want to tell you that it is possible to love a child as a nanny. Making sure that they are safe, well fed, clean, loved and listened to. This is probably the most important job there is and we should not take it for granted. Children develop in the early years. Once when I was dropping off the twins to daycare the alarms went off. I sat in my car and my gut told me to go back inside. They were evacuating the kids out of pre-caution and I took Nico and Leo to my car that I pulled around and stayed with them till all clear.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had children in my classes that needed special attention. Every child is different and every situation approached thoughtfully.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I'm gonna have to say sitting outside on the glider with my Mia when she was 5 months old and singing. She loves singing Twinkle Star and We love Each Other. Or having that little one that I see only one day a week run up and throw their arms around my neck because they missed me. A smile or a laugh can go a long way. I also enjoyed laying down with the twins and reading or singing songs to fall asleep. Going to the playground and running and swinging is a fun memory.
