A little bit about me

I have always loved children, and as the oldest of 4 girls, providing childcare is something I mastered at an early age. I even gave my baby sister her first bottle! Throughout middle school and high school I volunteered at my church’s nursery, and completed an internship with an organization called Out Of Zion, which runs a creative arts program for children with medical and special needs. I am a proud dog mom to a 2 year old cavalier king charles spaniel, and grew up helping to care for our family dogs, cats and bunny rabbits. I just graduated with a degree in musical theater so I have a lot of tools in my tool belt to educate, entertain and empathize, and find fun creative solutions for challenging situations. I also have experience with helping the kids I babysit find alternative sources of amusement whenever screen limits are in place.
