A little bit about me

My name is Rossanna, but I go by Roxan. I’m 18 years old, born and raised in Denver, and I recently graduated high school. I’m a responsible, caring, and patient person who genuinely loves being around kids. While I was in high school, I had an internship working with kids in an after-school program called Discovery Link. In the beginning, I worked with kindergarten through fifth grade, but later I started working more with younger kids ages 3–5 and I really loved it. I enjoyed playing with them, helping them learn new things, and making sure they felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. That experience taught me how to be more patient, communicate better with children, and stay calm in different situations. Outside of working with kids, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, and trying new things. I’m dependable, understanding, and always willing to help.
