I have two children of my own. As well as being a Special Education teacher for 16 years. Before I was a teacher I have my own home daycare for children newborn to 24 months.

Depending on the age of the child I am watching will depend on the activity. Most of the time I like to play as well as teach them. For example: for children under one we will play and learn how to count and colors. I will also read to them everyday. Children learn a lot from being read to.

The most importan part about being a nanny is having fun with the children I am watching and giving them the one on one attention every child deserves.

I have been special need children for most of my adult life. First as a Para for hearing impaired students and then as a Special Education Teacher for 16 years. Now I work with adults with Autism helping them find jobs.

I have never been a nanny before. So the only experience I can go off of is raising my children and watching grIow and learn things new.
