As a nanny, i can influence and impact the attitudes, behaviors and atmosphere of the children. The ability to improve or guide the development of a young child can offer a fulfilling feeling and sense of importance. A passion for impacting and caring for children’s!
My experience with special needs children...
When I volunteered to be a helper for special students I have experience working with students who have a wide range of disabilities, including autism, dyslexia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I am able to work under pressure and can adapt very well ! As well very patient and understanding and loving to the kids. I don’t see them any different to a non special needs kid. They’re all are loving kids, God just make some more unique!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Oh, there were so many wonderful happy moments. Building a massive pillow fort to read picture books in. Helping the kids create a cardboard maze and castle for the family’s! Watching the kids put on a talent show for me and an audience of toys.
Talking the kids to a park and rolling down the grassy hill together until I was dizzy, then watching them continue to roll for another half hour. Combining two or more board games for a mega game board that had a million rules, no way to win or lose, but was somehow still fun. Challenging everyone to talk in funny voices!! Basically, any chance to be creative and go all in on fun activities.
