My name is Ruby Moreno Perez I’m 18 years old and have a strong passion for taking care of kids. I’m currently a UVU student. It is my second year at UVU. I am Hispanic I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I have a diverse background in childcare and education. Since I was 14, I’ve gained experience babysitting for family and friends, which laid the foundation for my interest in child development. I furthered my knowledge by taking child development classes in high school and junior high. Professionally, I worked for a year and a half at a pediatric dentist's office, where I interacted with children and supported their dental care experience. More recently, I served as a teacher aide at an elementary school, assisting students with their educational needs.I also recently worked at the Wee Care Center at UVU, where I care for children ranging from infants to 12 years old. I’m certified in First Aid and CPR, which complements my hands-on experience and formal training in childcare.
