I am marking my 18 consecutive year as a personal service professional.  I have been working as a childcare specialist and have adopted the title of guardian / guide rather than nanny.  I work in tandem with families, collaborating with parents, extended family members and other support folk in multi-staffed settings.  In addition to the past 10 years, I have an additional 3 years as a guardian and guide.  The families lived in Chevy Chase, MD, Portland, OR, Spokane, WA, Seattle, WA, Bozeman, MT, San Jose, CA, Palo Alto / Atherton, CA, Denver, CO, and Capetown, SA

I also have a background as a Early
Childhood trainer and mentor, 6 years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate CASA and was an inclusion specialist at Khan Lab School in Mountain View, CA. And I have a strong background in teaching swimming and was a lifeguard training instructor. I need to update my Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.

I have a very strong background working with children under 3 including newborns. I also have a very unique background working with neurodiverse children including ASD, SPD and Epilepsy.
