A little bit about me

Good afternoon, my name is Ruth Gaytan. I grew up in Southern California and have lived in Montana for eight years before my family and I moved to Massachusetts three years ago. I am the third oldest of eight children, so I grew up always caring for my younger siblings, they would call me the "second mom" because I would always help with the cooking, diaper changes, toileting, cleaning; etc. I have always had a calling for providing care for others, I am a missionary, so I am extremely grateful to say that I have been able to meet many people and experience being a supportive role in their lives. I currently am enrolled as a Health Science major, and am eager to become a midwife, which is why I want to continue this journey of providing care for others.
