A little bit about me

I have worked in childcare at an in-home daycare on and off for about 4 years. I have taken care of children from 6 weeks old to 6 years of age on a regular basis and up to 12 years occasionally. Before that though, I have babysat children since I was about 12 on up, so you could say that I have taken care of children most of my life. I can change diapers, potty train, make bottles, prepare lunch, do arts and crafts, play games and take children on field trips to name just a few. I love children and would like to provide childcare for 1 to 2 children. I am looking to stay in childcare, but as a nanny now. I have a 7-year-old son that I would need to bring along with me sometimes, but that would in no way take away from the care and attention that I would give to your child/children. Hi! My name is Sierra, I’m looking for a full time (~35-40hr/wk as well as weekend babysitting availability) nanny position this upcoming school year starting late August at the earliest!

I have more than eight years of babysitting experience with children ages 0-10, one year as a part time nanny for a family with three busy little boys (5, 8, and 10yo), and after this summer, three years as a camp counselor (ages 7-16/17).

Ideally, I’d love to find a family with younger children, but I am perfectly comfortable with any age. I am hoping to work a full time schedule, so I am available for school pickup/drop off. At my current nanny job, I am also responsible for taking care of a young dog, as well as light housework and very open to doing the same in another position.
