Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I enjoy with children are arts and crafts, building a pillow fort, or just using our imaginations by playing pretend. I also enjoy reading books and having mini dance parties. I LOVE taking the children outdoors on nature walks and to the park. Looking for insects and teaching them about the world right outside their door. I also have experience with supervising children in water activities such as the pool.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What brings me joy in this job is watching as the children's eyes brighten as they learn something new, or how proud they are of their artwork after arts and crafts.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with caring for my 2 nephews, one of which has been diagnosed with autism and epilepsy, and the other diagnosed with ADHD. I have also gained the skill of creating diabetes friendly meals and snacks due to multiple family having the condition.
