Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began working with children at age 16 at Kids’ Zone at Holdingford Elementary School. I then left that job to start my new job with the Boys & Girls Club at age 19. I started as a youth development professional at KIDSTOP at Sartell Intermediate School, and I was promoted to the assistant manager at that site after a month of being employed there. I have also had various babysitting jobs throughout these years. I am first aid and CPR certified. I also have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and I am working towards earning my master’s degree in social work with the intent of one day becoming a school social work to work with elementary students.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience in working with children on the autism spectrum, I have also worked with several children with learning disabilities, and I spent two summers working with a child with Rett syndrome.
