A little bit about me

Hi! I have around 5 years experience. I started as a special needs soccer coach I have worked with children of all abilities. I took some time off to help take care of my infant niece and nephew. I currently work as before and after school care for kindergartners to 7th graders. I also do full day summer camps and school out days. I love to be creative and coming up new activities and games. Im All for being able to take kids on new adventures and teach them new things. I enjoy being able to watch kids grow and learn how to be humans. I love sports, reading, and cooking.

I have a car that can fit two car seats. With that I also have a valid drivers license with full coverage. I am willing to take the kids to different parks, activities, and so on to have fun things to do for the day. I am CPR and first aid trained as well as have basic child safety training. I have KIT training that entails how to work with/accommodate children with emotional, physical, and mental needs.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building the connection with the kids. It helps them to learn how to build relationships and how maintain them. It’s important to build it at a young age to help build confidence and teach them how to make friends.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments is when I was leaving for the day the kids didn’t want me to leave. They were sitting on my feet so I wouldn’t move. Others were holding my waist not letting me leave. It took me 30 minutes to leave. As soon as one kid would let go another would join. It made me so happy to know I have effected these kids in a positive way.
