A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Saffron! I'm a full-time public school educator during the school year, where I support children ages 4-18, including learners with disabilities. Before that, I supported youth as a nanny for toddlers and babies, and as a teaching artist at an after-school program for elementary-age (PK-6th) children. Because of my years of experience in diverse public schools like those in CPS, I am well-versed in trauma- and disability-informed de-escalation strategies; I pride myself in being a safe and supportive adult for all children. In my free time, I love to make art--creative kids and I really click!

I am available part-time/as needed until the end of the school year. After the first week of June, I am available full-time.
