More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My mom has been an elementary teacher my entire life and I have spent countless hours in her classroom working with kiddos and observing the environment that they thrive in. Additionally, I have done much volunteer work with elementary students through the Honor Society at my high school and have been babysitting kids from 3 months to 12 years old since I was 14 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy fostering creativity and imagination in children of all ages. I feel that arts and crafts, listening to music, making mistakes and learning from them, playing pretend, and going outside are all great ways to excite and engage a child's mind.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a babysitter was bringing pipe cleaners to my clients' house, where I was babysitting two 6 year old boys. I taught them how to make flowers with the pipe cleaners and they each made their mom a bouquet for Mother's Day. I then got to watch them gift them to her at the end of the night and make her feel so special.
