More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’m a mother of four boys, with two grown sons (20 and 21) and two younger ones (6 and 7). I have a lot of hands-on experience caring for children of different ages and managing a busy household. I understand children’s needs, routines, and how to create a safe, loving environment. In addition, I have over 10 years of experience in service and previously worked as a flight attendant with Lufthansa, which taught me responsibility, patience, and strong people skills.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a variety of fun and engaging activities with children, depending on their age. With younger kids, I like reading books, playing simple games, singing songs, and doing creative activities like drawing or crafts. With older children, I enjoy outdoor play, going to the park, doing light sports, and helping with homework or learning activities. I always focus on creating a safe, happy, and supportive environment where children can learn and have fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a great nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving environment where children feel secure and valued. Every child is different, so it’s important to be patient, attentive, and adaptable to their individual needs. Good communication with both the children and the parents is also key, along with being reliable, caring, and consistent in daily routines.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with different needs and personalities, as I am a mother of four boys, all very different. This has taught me to be patient, flexible, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I am comfortable adapting to children who require special care or extra attention. I also have personal experience managing Type 1 Diabetes within my family, which has given me a strong sense of responsibility and awareness when it comes to children’s health and well-being.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments is when a child feels truly comfortable and happy around me—when they start laughing, opening up, and trusting me. I love seeing their confidence grow and knowing I can create a safe and loving environment where they feel understood and supported.
