The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure that the child is safe and is engaged in any activities that we are doing is important. I think being hands on with a child is crucial in the development of their cognitive and motor skills. I think it is important that we are are always teaching the children because they are observing everything we do from how we talk, smile, engage, and respond. Two important traits that nanny should possess is to be calm and collective at all times. Toddlers throw tantrums, but how a nanny responds to a tantrum is really important. The most successful nanny are the ones who gains both trust of the child and the parent. Those to me are the most successful cases.

When I’m reading the child a book to help them prepare for nap time and they slowly fall asleep on my chest.
