A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Sam and I am a current middle school teacher's aid for special needs students. I have never expected to love a job so much! Before this year, I never saw myself working in special ed, but now I cannot see myself doing anything else.

I have loved being with kids ever since I was a kid myself. Starting at the age of 17, I used to enjoy my summers as a sailing counselor in Daytona Beach. I instructed kids between the ages of 8-15 how to work together as a team and manage a sail boat, all while trying not to capsize the boat.

Besides my formal experience, I also have a ton of nieces and nephews ranging from newborns to 18 years old.

I have experience dealing with twins, ADHD, ADD, ASD, dyslexia, OSD, and intellectual disorder.
