I’ve been a teacher in a few different daycare’s. I’m currently a kindergarten teaching aid and substitute for Saint Joseph Catholic school, Weirton WV.
I’ve also been a babysitter, mother’s helper, governess for many years! Alongside this, I grew up in a very big family with three younger siblings and started caring for them primarily at 15 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing hands-on activities with children, bringing them outdoors, playing games, doing large and small manipulative skills, always creating a new fun activity for them to do. Arts and crafts bringing them to the playground or swimming, etc..
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is to be sure the family and children know that they are safe loved and well taken care of. That they can trust me. And to put the children’s needs primarily first. You provide all their needs and make sure they also have fun.. to treat everyone fairly and have very clear communication with the parents.
My experience with special needs children...
My biggest experience was, I had a student with special needs who was in my class one year. I’ve had lots of correspondence with children to a special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
His hearing from the parents that the children ask about me even on the weekends! Knowing that I am loved and the children miss having me around.
