My favorite moment as a nanny was when I taught a 10-year-old how to make scrambled eggs one morning. I received a text a week later from the mother saying that their daughter enjoyed cooking so much she had made them eggs every day since the day I taught her. It was so heartwarming to see her carry something I taught with her!
