A lot comes to mind when I think about what matters most in being a nanny. I really value the parents’ opinions and how they want things done, because every family is different. I also understand that every child is their own person — they like different things, learn differently, and react in their own ways. Safety is always the top priority, and being attentive and present is so important when you’re caring for kids. My goal is to have as much fun as possible while still keeping things safe and structured. I want parents to come home to happy, tired kids and days full of stories they’re excited to share.
