A little bit about me

Hello! I'm a Wausau native back in town after being gone to pursue a degree at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Although I studied animals, some of my favorite people to be around are kids. Before moving back, I was a live in nanny for a year to the coolest 2 year old in Eau Claire until Mom was ready to deliver her second; but I haven't gotten back into it since. I would love to be of help to another family, with the bonus of getting to watch a little person blossom. Having a reliable support system is crucial for kids and parents alike - being a nanny means I can be there to encourage kids to become their full potential, while giving parents a much needed break in knowing their kids are under trustworthy, responsible, fun care. I'm comfortable running errands, preparing food, having kids follow a routine or schedule, and getting them out into the fresh air. I've also worked as a maid and house sitter, so it's habit to leave the spaces I'm in cleaner than I found them.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I partook in after school child care at both Grant and Lincoln Elementary; tutoring, focus groups, and daycare leader.

Additionally, I worked as a live in nanny through 2020 and into 2021. I have been called upon as regular babysitter for infants routinely over the past 5 years, which lead me to the position. I come highly recommended by kids and parents alike!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outside time is so important! I love taking kids for walks, to the park, swimming, anything to tire them out. Reading and engaging their minds with active play and conversation are some top priorities when I'm around kids.

Ensuring a child is fully cared for in mind, body, and spirit. Having a fulfilled, engaged child is having a happy child - I value creating a safe, comfortable environment for them to thrive in.
