A little bit about me

I recently graduated with a B.A. in religion from the University of Vermont and am relocating to Southern Utah in June. I have babysat for a decade, worked at a sleepaway camp for three summers, and been a nanny in both full and part-time capacities on and off through my college years.

Babies are my favorite and I do have some experience with newborns, although the majority of my childcare experience is with ages 9m-4y. I also have experience taking care of children with complex behaviors and special needs, namely autism and ADHD/ADD. I have active Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and WFR certifications. I love to teach kids to swim, ski, and rock climb!

My childcare ethos and style emphasizes consistency, firm yet fair boundaries, and strong emotional bonds. I have developed deep friendships with many of the parents who I've worked for, and I now consider them and their children family. I look forward to becoming a valuable asset and friend to a couple families in Utah this summer!
