A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Samantha and I have many years of unpaid and paid experience with childcare. I grew up an older sister and when I was 15, my dad remarried, and I gained a perfect 2 year old sister. Because both my dad and step-mom worked, I have been taking care of my younger sister for years. I have looked after her, my three year old brother, and my three and seven year old cousins for their whole lives, usually all at once. I am very well versed in children’s needs and how they function. I also was a behavioral therapist for young children with autism for a period of time. Although this technically wasn’t a childcare program, I gained very valuable experience with caring for and working with children who are unrelated to me. School is always my number-one priority but of course, I am very passionate about working with children. In fact, I am going to school to become a teacher and hopefully help educate the next generation.
