A little bit about me

I 44 years young, I have raised two daughters with the Montessori approach, who are now 18 and 15. I volunteered at their Montessori school that they attended for nine years. I then started subbing with the primary and toddler communities and then I worked for five years in the toddler community full-time as an assistant to an AMI lead guide. I have experience nannying, a three year-old and a five-year-old in their home. I follow the lead of the parents preference of rules of the house, but I definitely approach it with a holistic, respectful, Montessori approach. I truly believe that children are very capable of understanding and doing so much more than what we adults allow. I believe that they should be seen and heard and that they too have an important role in the home and community. I love being a safe space for children and that I am not just here to teach and guide them, but I too have a lot to learn from them through observation and communication, love and respect.
