My brother has have cerebral paulsy and I'm close with a few people who are autistic. I feel like they just need more love. Just a little patience and determination go a long way. I'm willing to take the extra time to make them happier while I'm around it makes my day to see them smile and get excited.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making a fort on a rainy day and playing out a whole skit that we both learned from and had a blast doing so. Just making the fort with different new arts and crafts was so much fun and the parents loved it.
