Hi, my names Sam Tomka and I am currently attending NAU to become an art teacher. The past three years I have worked at after school daycares and summer camps. I love how fulfilling creating connections with kids and guiding them in a way. Obviously I'm passionate about working with kids if I'm dedicating my career to it. Through my years of experience I have learned how to handle conflicts between kids of all ages, developmental levels, and interests (kindergarten through 5th grade). I have also learned how to think fast in urgent situations, considering things happen with 50 plus kids. With that many children, I've also learned how to pay close attention to detail and keep my eyes on multiple things at once. I really do have a passion for helping people and leaving a positive impact on others. It's what I love.
