I am currently student teaching in a 6th grade classroom where I help support students with their daily lessons, classroom activities, and learning goals. This experience has allowed me to develop skills in classroom management, lesson support, and building positive relationships with students. I enjoy helping students understand new concepts and encouraging them to stay engaged and confident in their learning.
In addition to student teaching, I also work with students in grades K–6 through after-school care and tutoring. In this role, I help students complete homework, provide extra academic support, and create a safe and positive environment after the school day ends. Working with a wide range of grade levels has helped me learn how to adapt my teaching style to meet different learning needs and developmental stages. These experiences have strengthened my passion for working in education and supporting students both academically and socially.
