A little bit about me

Mom, grandma, aunt. I did a lot of paid babysitting as a teenager & often looked after younger cousins. My current paid position is less than a year. During this time, I have completed classes, including 1st Aid/CPR.

For over 20 years, I taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School & was Director of Children's Ministries. I coached t-ball. When I worked part-time, I was an assistant to elementary school teachers. I worked with children primarily in spelling & reading.

I had a full, fast-paced career. After retirement, I had too much time & energy, so I tried several part-time, seasonal & temporary jobs. The position at the daycare/preschool is a great fit for me. I am in excellent health, able to get on the floor to play with babies as they have tummy time or the older ones, scoot, crawl & explore a variety of toys & sensory objects. I give each time & attention. The babies range in age from 2 months to 9 months so their needs & interactions vary.
