I am currently a 3rd grade school teacher. I have over 10+ years experience with children. I have also been at the same place of work for 8 years. I have previously taught pre-K aged children, kindergarten, and 2nd grade. I have tutored in after school programs for gifted students in 2nd grade, as well as a variety of ages up to 5th grade. I have a 12 1/2-year-old son and three nephews that I often care for; ages now are 6, 8, and 12. I am also an animal lover and can do light housekeeping. I of course will also make sure to meet your child’s social and emotional needs with genuine loving and quality time.

I love board games, creative play, going on walking trails, playing outdoors, watching movies, making snacks together, cleaning together, reading together, anything to spend quality time.

The most important part about being a nanny is so many things that have to be present at one time. It’s about being able to show the children love, stability, respect, and have expectations for all the things in return to be able to have a strong foundation for the children to be able to grow as their best selves.

My favorite nanny moment would be bonding with them as if they were my own children. The best moments are from quality time and doing the most simple things because we do them together. Not only is this a learning experience for children, it teaches mutual respect, shows a loving environment, and prepares them for the real world just by doing every day things together such as: making snacks and preparing meals, learning strategies and good sportsmanship with games, being able to be creative and explore with conversations and discussions while outdoors, having opportunities for artistic activities, being responsible and accountable even from an early start with chores, learning manners, and appropriate behavior and responses when days may not be their best. All of these moments accumulate to connecting to children and ensuring their best interest.
