Beginning in my teen years and continuing through my adult years, I have served countless families in this position. I studied early childhood development in college and expanded my knowledge base from there. I raised my own four children while also working with other families and clearly feel that caregiving is my passion.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I firmly believe children should explore and investigate the world around them. For this reason, I take a hands-on approach to learning and teaching. Cooking/baking together, going for a nature walk, a trip to a children's museum, working on puzzles, playing board games, crafts, coloring, reading books together. All of these are vital to their growth and development.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I cherish the opportunity to work with and bond with a family and meet their unique needs in ways they never imagined. I am highly skilled at active listening and strive to exceed expectations.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children in varying degrees of need, including Auditory Processing Disorder, Autism, physical disability, anxiety, and more. Each child deserves the opportunity to grow and learn in a safe, patient, fun atmosphere and I work hard to provide that for them. If I am not familiar with a condition, I am eager to learn how best to accommodate them and to meet the child's and family's needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I get great reactions from children when I read books to them and use different voices for each character. They find it fun and engaging and I enjoy the challenge of changing my voice for every single character!
