If mom is okay with it I try to do arts and crafts ones that are keepsakes for the parents like hand prints made into butterflies. Try to make sure they get some outside time so they aren’t cooped up.

I have taken care of a 12 yr old non-verbal autistic child and learned soo much from that experience. Also my older sister who is on disability due to brain tumor surgery that didn’t go well.
