Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have several years of experience working with children of different ages and in a variety of settings. I worked at KinderCare for an extended period of time, primarily as a Teacher’s Assistant in the toddler room. I also worked as an Infant Teacher at Yellow Brick Road Childcare.
In addition to my childcare center experience, I was a summer nanny for a 5 year & 8 month old girls. I worked as a PCA for a 10-year-old.
I currently work as a DSP supporting adults with disabilities, which has continued to strengthen my patience, compassion, responsibility, and ability to care for others. While I enjoy the work I do, I’m hoping to get back into the childcare field because working with children is something I truly love!

I am currently studying early childhood education at Minneapolis College (and passing). My hours will have to work around college, although most of it is online, I have one class at 4:30 p.m Tuesday's and Thursday's. I have worked with kids with behavioral issues but have yet worked with kids with special needs. I also have 2 dogs and have worked at a doggy daycare, so I'm more than comftorable being in a home with dogs. I can't wait to meet and provide for your family!
