The most important part about being a nanny...
I do not have a favorite “nanny” moment as I have mostly worked in daycare but one of my favorite moments caring for children has to be when my class of all boys at my home daycare were around 1 month apart. They were all between 14m and 19m. I did themed weeks and that week was farm week. One of my kiddos who was around 16m at the time was brought to a real farm that weekend. His mom texted me telling me all about how he knew every animal, things around the farm (like tractor, barn, equipment we discussed from our flash cards). I was so proud of him and it’s very accomplishing seeing children retain the information they’re taught and express it to their parents.
