I have been a nanny for three Family's now in the past 4 year. I recently started during the pandemic and fell in love with caring for children and infants and decided to make it my full-time job.
I have previous experience as a ballet teacher and creative movement teacher, ranging from ages 3-6 years old. I come from a very large family with over 20 nieces and nephews still growing in number. We are family oriented and spend much of our time around kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Spending time outside is a big part of my life, nature is a great teacher! During the warm months we could go on outdoor adventures in the backyard or to a local park. Building forts, foraging, learning and identifying local plants, bike rides, walks and picnics. Even showing babies the new Spring flowers or the changing Auttumn leaves brings me much joy.
Indoors we could make arts and crafts, have a dance party, build puzzles and be silly. I try my best to stay away from screens as much as possible and encourage imaginative play.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Being there for them and showing them love. All children are a gift and spending quality time with them means the world. I cherish each day I get to spend with a child.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never cared for children with special needs myself but am willing and able to learn.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Building a huge fort in the living room and spending much of the day with the kids giggling and playing in the fort. What fun!
