I was with a 3 year old toddler as well as his sweet 2 month baby sister. I was with their family for 3 years and they changed my life in ways that are so small but so grand. I changed diapers, took them baths, prepared lunch, did feedings, tummy time, read to them, took the toddler to the pool for swim lessons, went to parks, walks. Kept up with their laundry and their living areas tidied. I make lists weekly of any items the children may need. Such as diapers, wipes, rash creams, lotion, shampoo conditioner, body wash, formula, etc. to help parents keep track of those needs. I love children, I love watching them grow and teaching them to the best of my capabilities. I understand that they require all my patience and kindness and will never neglect them of those things.

After graduating college, I spent two and a half years as a full-time nanny for a family with two boys which I love dearly (in January, they were my ring bearers!) When I started, they were aged 7 months and 3 years. On several occasions, I spent the night in their home, taking care of the boys while the parents traveled, and also accompanied the family on trips, even traveling overseas with them to China. Raising the boys was some of the most rewarding work I've ever done. I cherish the tender years of early childhood and take pride knowing I helped the youngest develop his gross motor skills and communication, and fostered kindness, patience and respect during the years I was with their family. Now that they are in grade school full time, I am looking for a new opportunity to help a family with an infant for a couple years, all over again.
