A little bit about me

I love working with children. I have been working with children of all different ages from 6 weeks up to age 12. I have worked in several different daycare centers and different school districts as well. I do have some child development courses that I took in college. And I also do have my CPR and first aid up to date for infant and child up to adult. I have been babysitting since I was 14. And will provide references upon request for a couple families I still do babysit for.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities I love to do with children is if it is a nice day outside. I like to get outdoors and go to a park or on a nice walk. I think it is very important to keep kids active and let them run and play. I also love interacting with them as well. While teaching them and having fun at the same time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a good role model is very important in being a good nanny or with any position working with children and babies. They look up to you even if your not there parent. When your a nanny you are a huge part of there lives and they definitely do look up to u and are learning from u.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for multiple children with different disabilities. Autism and ADHD Are the main two. And I have learned that It is very important to be very patient and to give them the extra attention and care that they need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have had alot of great memories in the last 20+ years of
Being a babysitter, and a childcare provider. I would say I don't necessarily have a favorite. But my favorite thing about working with children Is watching them learn and grow, and seeing them many years later how much they have learned and thinking that I was a part in there growth of what they have become.
