I have experience with infants, toddlers, 2s, 3s, 4 and school-age children. I enjoy working with children so much because I have the opportunity to shape and mold those bright young minds with positivity. In my years as a teacher, I’ve worked with many different types of students. I’ve done feeding, meal prep, gross motor activity, worked in Montessori environments and child-led activities. I’ve done outdoor learning with my children and neighborhood walks at the local parks. I think it’s important to have good communication skills because growing children requires help with transitioning, redirection, and patience!

My experience with special needs children...

worked as a para for preschool-aged children. I’ve had many different children who were nonverbal and who displayed various behaviors. It’s helped me learn how to navigate and aid in situations where my children needed that support. It takes a lot of patience and mental maturity, and I think that’s something that I’m happy to have acquired and, of course, still learning to use it every day even for myself
