My granddaughters love to go to the park, we have tea party's & picnics inside & out, playing school, fish card games,take walks,tic tac toe is a favorite,& going to the library for movies or to browse.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel like just being there, especially children, to show them that they can depend on you & trust you & you have respect for one another, children of any age are people too. To listen, to understand how they see things, communication,& discussion, them teaching you a thing or two,to see things they're way to, to be firm but gentle & loving. I'm known as the Baby Magnet, it seems all babys love me. Lol
My experience with special needs children...
A very good friend of mine has an autistic son, I have just been around him off & on for about 3 yrs. He loves to talk, movies,ride bikes,& play bubbles. Lol. His favorite thing to do is disappear & has done so, I've seen enough to know you keep a very close eye on them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My neighbor had a two year old son, he crawled in my front door like my cat, but I thought he demanded a banana, he was calling Nana. Lol
