A little bit about me

Hello! I have been babysitting and spending time with children since I was a teenager babysitter. Now I'm a mother of a kindergartener and looking to fill some of by time by helping a family with childcare for a few days per week. I worked as a Medical Assistant for about 10 years before becoming a stay home mom. I enjoying learning and reading about child development to ensure my child (and yours!) become well rounded, loved, and nurtured people. I have had great success using positive discipline techniques, more recently referred to as "gently parenting." Play based learning, natural consequences, and setting clear boundaries for children are things I have been practicing for some time and have become pretty good at. I'm looking forward to learning more about your family and how I can help!
