Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 5 years of experience working with children of all ages. My background includes serving as a full-time nanny for a newborn from birth until he was 2 years old. I have simultaneously nannied 5 children for about 3 years. That position was part-time. I also have formal hands-on experience working in the infant and toddler classroom at Utah State University and conducted observations at Tiny Tigers Intergenerational Center. Additionally, growing up as the eldest daughter with 8 siblings has provided me with a lifelong foundation in managing a busy household and multi-child dynamics.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to take on walks, explore a park, spend a day at the aquarium or zoo. I really enjoy reading books with/to the kids. I would love to do some arts and crafts. I also greatly encourage dramatic/imaginative play as it helps with cognitive development and emotional regulation. I always try to align activities with a child's specific interests so that everything feels natural and fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite things about working with children is the opportunity to build deep, meaningful relationships with the children and the families I am working with. I love being a supportive figure who can help nurture a child's development, curiosity, education, and emotional growth. I adore children and being able to see a child master a new skill or learn something new just tickles me pink.
