The most important part of being a Nanny is always stay attentive and aware at all times what the child(ren) are up to and at, at all times.. Making sure the child (ren) are comfortable, happy and well fed.
My experience with special needs children...
I have two nieces that are both autistic and they jump ,run around and scream,cry most of the day but just holding them and singing to them was soothing to them.. I guess it's just finding out what the child needs and is comfortable with to be able as well to calm a child .
