I have worked at a gade school through AmeriCorps and I am now a child care worker through the elementary schools in Bemidji (until May).

My experience with special needs children...
My 17 year old PCA client over the last couple years had developmental delays and lived at home but was very independent. We worked on trying new things and engaging with others to increase her independence and social skills. I have experience caring for children with IEPs and diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy and ADHD.
