I am a student at St. Ambrose, so I could be available on a limited, as needed basis during the school year as well. I have 4 years of childcare experience. I am currently working at The Red Apple as a Pre-K teacher, and have for the past year. Due to this position, I am unavailable between the hours of 2-6:30 p.m., but am open and flexible outside of that. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, and am passionate about working with children. I believe the outdoors is where children can be the most creative. I think it is important that they get as much time outside as possible. Going to the park, swimming, and walking are all fantastic for kids. Indoors, I do a lot of dance parties with kiddos. I also love to find ways to make age-appropriate education fun. Many kids love to help out around the house, so I love to involve the kids I am babysitting in simple daily chores such as cleaning up their toys and cooking (when it is appropriate).
