I have a degree in Childhood Education from the University of Texas at Austin, with four years of experience as a Pre-K teacher. I’ve also worked in first and second grade classrooms in public schools through student teaching and internships.

I’ve worked with kids in many different settings. I spent four years as a Pre-K teacher and also taught in first and second grade classrooms through my student teaching. Outside of the classroom, I’ve babysat for families with children of all ages, helping with school pick-ups, meals, bedtime, and keeping things fun and engaging. These experiences have helped me build strong, trusting relationships with both kids and parents.

Activities I enjoy doing with children include anything creative or hands-on. I love arts and crafts, storytelling, outdoor play, and building things together. I also enjoy planning activities that match each child’s interests, whether it’s making up games, going on nature walks, or doing simple science experiments. I believe kids learn best when they’re having fun, and I always try to create moments that are both engaging and meaningful.

My experience with special needs children includes working with students with Down syndrome, visual impairments, autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. I’ve supported a wide range of learning styles and needs, and I always focus on creating a safe, encouraging environment where every child can thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have loved getting to know the students I worked with at the preschool where I taught for four years. Being both their teacher and their babysitter gave me the chance to build strong, lasting relationships with them and their families. Watching them grow and continuing to be part of their lives as they develop has been incredibly special to me.
