A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Sarah. I’m a 21-year-old wife and mama to a sweet little boy, and caring for children is truly the joy of my life. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom since May 2024, and during that time I’ve poured my heart into nurturing, teaching, and supporting my son through his early milestones. Now that he has started daycare and is forming friendships of his own, I’m excited to step back into working with children and supporting another family.
I come from a big family — one of four siblings with many nieces and nephews — so caring for children of all ages feels natural to me. I previously worked at a daycare and volunteered at my church, gaining hands-on experience in creating a safe, structured, and loving environment. I am CPR and First Aid trained and have a reliable vehicle.
More than just being a nanny, I hope to become a trusted, caring extension of your family.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children of various ages through both professional and personal roles. As a stay-at-home mother since May 2024, I manage daily routines including meal preparation, educational play, developmental activities, scheduling, and maintaining a safe, structured environment. My experience has strengthened my patience, multitasking abilities, and understanding of early childhood development.
Previously, I worked at a daycare where I assisted with supervising multiple children at once, organizing activities, supporting learning milestones, and ensuring safety at all times. I also volunteered in my church’s children’s programs, helping lead activities and provide attentive care in group settings.
Additionally, as one of four siblings and an aunt to many nieces and nephews, I have regularly cared for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged. These experiences have shaped my nurturing, dependable, and attentive approach to childcare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time with children in ways that are both fun and meaningful. Reading books together, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying trips to the park are some of my favorite activities, along with arts and crafts, music, and simple baking or cooking projects. I enjoy hands-on learning, educational games, and sensory play that encourage curiosity and creativity. My goal is always to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel free to explore, learn, and grow, while also having fun and making happy memories along the way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel valued, heard, and encouraged to grow. It’s about more than supervision — it’s about building trust, forming meaningful connections, and helping children explore, learn, and thrive while knowing they are loved and supported every step of the way.

My experience with special needs children...

While I do not have direct experience caring for children with social or behavioral needs, I am compassionate, patient, and eager to learn. My experience as a mother, daycare assistant, and volunteer has given me strong skills in observing, understanding, and responding to children’s individual needs. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for every child, and I am open to guidance and training to best support children with unique social or behavioral needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments caring for children was watching my little boy or my nieces and nephews achieve something on their own — whether it was taking their first steps, learning a new word, or completing a fun craft project. Seeing their excitement and knowing I helped create a safe, encouraging space for them is an unforgettable feeling. Those little milestones, big smiles, and giggles are what make caring for children so rewarding, and they remind me why I love being around kids so much.
