The most important part about being a nanny is to recognize responsibilities throughout the day and to stay organized, to ensure that I fulfill my duties and complete my tasks. A great nanny is self-motivated, hard working and dedicated to the childs wellbeing. It's important for me to serve as an additional role model for children and acting as a confidant mentor. Because I'll spend a great deal of time with the kids from day to day, it is being able to develop a strong emotional bond with them; to allow them to feel safe, and happy while mom and dad are away.
