My name is Sariah and i’m I’m 15 Years old turning 16 in November i have had many experiences with kids i have about 8 siblings including the one on the way, and one of them is autistic he’s very well spoken but it’s still hard to understand him. i’m a sophomore in high school. in the future i want to be a social worker, i want to work with kids because there so sweet and really gentle. for my next 3 years of high school im going to go down the road with human services to understand kids more and understand more of there needs/wants. i’m professional when it comes to answering texts/calls and being on time. personally i don’t like being late because i don’t like wasting peoples time because i wouldn’t want them wasting mine.

I’m the first kid out of all my siblings so seeing all my little cousins/ siblings grow up is really a core memory i love spending time with them and just kids in general so there really is no specific time where i cared for children because i care for them all the time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

i love coloring and painting and that’s what most children like to do, i love watching movies and eating popcorn ect. kids like to go outside a lot so having activities like jump rope or playing tag is important, but you just have to keep them satisfied and occupied.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part on being a nanny is learning the responsibilities that come with it, being a mom is not easy so being a nanny isn’t gonna be easier, you still have to be honest with the parents because after all that’s not your kid. children have there own way of coping there just kids still learning so you need to have the patients and the ability to learn just like them.

My experience with special needs children...

My brother is autistic, he’s very well spoken but it’s still hard to understand him as expected. i watched 1 autistic kid that wasn’t my brother so i don’t have much experience but i do understand sign language(kinda) if it’s something that’s obvious or if he/she points then ill understand but specific information on how they work would be helpful

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think my most favorite memory’s with kids is seeing them laugh, there laughs are so precious and soo contagious
